To enter this garden, we pass through a custom redwood gate precisely detailed with square lattice panels and finely beveled edges on the gate itself. A handmade wrought iron latch secures the gate. Redwood arbors at opposite ends of the garden provide a sense of place and were built using a joinery technique at the post, beam and rafters. The plantings consist of Japanese Maples, Azaleas, Ferns, Pieris, and numerous perennials for color and accent.
